P.M.H. Atwater – NDE

P. M. H. Atwater, L.H.D. is one of the original researchers in the field of near-death studies, having begun her work in 1978. She has written nine books on her findings, and is now working on her tenth — the final wrapup of her theory about brain shift/spirit shift, straight talk about transformations of consciousness and the future of the human race. Some of her findings have been verified in clinical studies, among them the prospective study done in Holland and published in “Lancet” medical journal (12-15-01). Her The Big Book of Near-Death Experiences brings the entire field up-to-date, and was featured in an online version of Newsweek Magazine. In 2005, she was awarded the Outstanding Service Award from the International Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS), and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists (NATH). Anita Moorjani – NDE

Anita Moorjani was born in Singapore and then lived in Sri Lanka until she was 2 years old. An ethnic Sindhi woman from India, her family then moved to Hong Kong where she grew up speaking fluent Sindhi, Cantonese and English, as well as being conversant with a multitude of cultural idioms. She was educated in English schools in Hong Kong and later studied in England before returning to Hong Kong to take up a senior management position for a French fashion company where she traveled all over the world using her multi-cultural, multilingual background in a variety of business and social settings. In December 1995, she married her husband and soulmate, Danny. In April 2002 she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and after nearly 4 years of battling the disease, she was taken to the intensive care unit of her local hospital in February 2006 where she was given less than 36 hours to live. Ed Salisbury is a hospice minister, yoga coach, and funeral director. Having experienced multiple near-death experiences, he’s been drawn to work closely with the dying. Natalie Sudman – NDE

Natalie worked as an archeologist in the Great Basin states for sixteen years before accepting a position managing construction contracts in Iraq. As a female civilian employee of the Army Corps of Engineers in Basrah and Nasiriyah, Iraq, she was riding in a truck when a roadside bomb destroyed the vehicle. As a result of the severe injuries her body received from this roadside bomb, Natalie had a near-death experience where she left her body and entered the spirit world. There it was decided that her work on Earth was not done and with the help of spirit guides, they repaired the body so she could reenter it. She retained the conscious memory of what happened and during the time in the hospital, more details returned. Dr. Rajiv Parti – DNDE, NDE

Dr. Rajiv Parti, founder of the Pain Management Institute of California and Chief of Anesthesiology at Bakersfield’s Heart Hospital, specialized in cardiac anesthesiology. On Christmas Eve of 2010, after two years of battling chronic pelvic pain, incontinence, and impotency due to surgical complications from prostate cancer, Dr. Parti was taken to the Emergency Room at UCLA. Suffering from sepsis (a life-threatening infection) and in excruciating pain, Dr. Parti had an out-of-body experience. Floating ten feet above his body, Dr. Parti watched his medical team as they struggled to save him. While part of his consciousness remained in the operating room in Los Angeles, another part of his consciousness journeyed to India where he watched family members prepare a meal. From there he visited hell, experienced a life review, met deceased loved ones, travelled through a “time tunnel,” and visited Heaven where he met a Being of Light (whom he regarded as God) and two guardian angels. During the experience, Rajiv was told that he was going to be alright, but that when he returned to his body, his life purpose would be changed forever: he would leave behind his materialistic lifestyle, stop practicing anesthesiology, and become a healer.

When Dr. Parti’s consciousness returned to his body, his mental, behavioral and psychological priorities changed dramatically. In the weeks that followed, Dr. Parti abandoned his career, and with the support of his wife and children, downsized his family home from a 10,000 square foot mansion to a modest home. He traded in his Hummer and Mercedes for a Toyota hybrid and now spends his time volunteering for community projects and teaching that chronic pain, addiction, and depression are “diseases of the soul.” In a radical departure from his conventional medical training, Dr. Parti now advocates a consciousness-based approach to healing. Duane S – NDE

Duane’s near-death experience took place in the spring of 1981when he was 41 years old. Before his experience, he describes himself as an agnostic who held no spiritual beliefs. He believed “it would all be over” when he died and looked forward “to the oblivion.” After his NDE, Duane came to believe:

“There is nothing to fear in death. It’s just the beginning of a new adventure; another chance to express yourself differently with souls you have loved and cherished over many lifetimes and many realms. Cami Renfrow – NDE

When Cami was 22, she lost control of her car and was crushed when her airborne car landed on top of her. It shattered her sacrum, fractured her skull, and devastated much in between. Cami’s survival and ultimate thriving surprised many medical professionals who worked with the severe injuries. Cami subsequently experienced long, ongoing periods of altered states of consciousness. These experiences illuminated the suddenly self-evident fact that our physical bodies and experiences are manifestations of Consciousness. Years of oppressive chronic pain took their toll, with arthritis and fibromyalgia pain syndromes settling in after the initial trauma recovery. Over time, during moments of quiet, mystical visions and spontaneous healing unwound these layers of pain. Following the path unfolding before her, and with the help of shared information from many wise professional sources, nutrition, homeopathy and changing my thought and movement patterns, the tide turned. Cami’s perceptions and body felt more clarity and freedom than had ever been a part of her experience. Following many personal miracles of recovery, she came to recognize that with focused concentration we can channel life force energy for healing. Nanci Danison – NDE

Nanci L. Danison holds a BS in Biology, with a concentration in Anatomy and Physiology, a BA in Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Jurisprudence. Until 1994, she was living the life of a successful trial lawyer in a large midwestern law firm. She often lectured on a national level and wrote on legal topics for the health care industry. Nanci, at one time, appeared on the news for local TV stations in public service spots for the Bar Association, one of the activities that earned her a Jaycees Ten Outstanding Citizens Award for community service. After a near death experience, Nanci left the security of her big law firm and started a successful solo practice in health law, where she continues to be recognized for her legal abilities. Nanci’s has started a local chapter of the International Association for Near-Death Studies, Inc.; earning a pilot’s license in 2000 and Private Investigator’s license in 2001; and sharing her near-death experience memories publicly.
